SS12 wow! I have to admit that we are surprised to see many of the premiere fashion houses finally sporting yummy sneakers. Ah hem..(clears throat) they are calling it Sports-Luxe — which was the standout trend on this season's catwalks. As beautiful as they are we might just stick with our Dunks, Pumas, Converse or my precious Sam Edelman Cori Sherpa High Top Sneakers.

Perfect pets! To celebrate their 100th anniversary the luxury fashion house Maroquinaris Zoologicae has collaborated with artist Billie Achilleos to cut and metaphor 30 beautiful Louis Vuitton bags into charming creatures from small mammals and insects to birds, reptiles and crustaceans. New Kids on the Block: House of Rena

Leaning towards evening wear this fashion label, House of Rena, utilizes intricate materials and luxurious fabrics to create pieces that are influenced by their personal style, visionary taste and designers.  Their well crafted garments that are subtle yet chic, have definitely put them on our our Style List for 2011.

Behind the brand we find the Kanj sisters, Reem and Natalya, who are taking part in this year's LFW.

French label Hermes, synonymous with luxury and craftsmanship, is celebrating their scarves with on their fanzine website, J'aime mon carré! It showcases their story, photography, short videos and upcoming events. Created by  British photographer Matt Irwin and stylist Francesca Burns this fashion project centres around four women, from London, Paris, NY and Tokyo, wearing their favourite Hermes scarves.

In addition, Hermes and Colette have joined forces to give new life  the silk patterns with bold graphics and colors. Available: September 27th through October 16th
